click to enlarge Third album by this female trio from London, including two members of SHOPPING. Having started with an approach influenced by bands such the RAINCOATS, SLITS, LiLiPUT, they have meanwhile developed and evolved their sound in a way comparable to bands like THE EX or MEKONS. This new album offers lots of variation with adding instruments like saxophone, cello, harp and percussions to their sound, but most of all combining their Post-Punk approach with West-African rhythms, some Latin vibes, and Afrobeat guitars.
