SPRAY PAINT- Clean Blood, Regular Acid - LP - MONOFONUS PRESS

click to enlarge 3rd LP by this No Wave/Post-Punk band from Austin/Texas. A psychotically broken sound, reminding of the FALL, and mostly of the SWELL MAPS and other more experimentally open-minded Post-Punk bands. Contains 13 songs, incl. download-code! http://spraypaint.bandcamp.com/

SPRAY PAINT- Dopers - LP - MONOFONUS PRESS

click to enlarge Following shortly on "Punters On A Barge", here's another album by SPRAY PAINT from Texas, containing 8 songs recorded by Chris Woodhouse during their US-tour. Not as raging as on "Punters", a lot slower, and with more of the FLIPPER/BRANBOMBS-like sludge to their sound, or like a creepy version of the A FRAMES in a bad mood... LP comes with download-code included. https://soundcloud.com/monofonus/sets/spray-paint-dopers

SPRAY PAINT- Feel The Clamps - LP - GONER RECORDS

click to enlarge The meanwhile 6th full album for this Avant-Punk threepiece from Austin/Texas. Contains 11 new tracks, recorded and mixed by Chris Woodhouse. Their sound owes a lot to bands like the early SWELL MAPS and WIRE, but it's like a modern re-interpretation, not unlike what the A FRAMES used to do. LP comes with fullcolor-print innersleeve and download-code!

SPRAY PAINT- Punters On A Barge - n/a - HOMELESS RECORDS

click to enlarge 4th full album by these Post-Punk rockers from Austin/Texas! The sticker on the sleeve says: "Somewhere between the FALL, THIS HEAT, BRAINBOMBS and GANG OF FOUR"! As much as this could be true, the names that popped into my mind as references were the early SWELL MAPS and BIG BLACK. In any case, an awesomely great album! LP comes with download-code included! http://homelessrecords.bandcamp.com/album/punters-on-a-barge
