 Debut album with 11 songs of bursting vital Power-Pop from Melbourne/Australia. Upbeat, passionate, with lots of hooks! The label compares them to the UNDERTONES, BIG STAR and BLONDIE. Maybe that's a bit too flattering, but there's definitely truth to it. A good comparison are as well AMYL & THE SNIFFERS, but (for the most part) without the Hard-Rock appeal, and more anthemic tunes.  First album by French Folk singer/songwriter, somewhere in between Canadian First Nations Folk singer Buffy Sainte Marie and chanteuse Nico (or a crosstake of both), influenced by Leonard Cohen. The 9 odes on this LP sound both minimalistic and with an almost baroque abundance, a combination of these extremes. The atmosphere is psychedelic, maybe even esoteric, shamanic and mystically bewitching.
