The ghosts of LUBRICATED GOAT, VENOM P. STINGER or FLIPPER meeting with the punchier side (yee-haw!) of BIRTHDAY PARTY, added with a slower dirging ANGRY SAMOANS Punk-vibe and a sardonic sense of humor!

CURRENT AFFAIRS- Buckle Up/World In Crisis - 7"+MP3 - DOTX3
 Repressed again! Third 7" by this band from Glasgow, with both tracks being exclusive to this single, and not included on the "Object & Subject" compilation, since they were recorded later then. "Buckle Up" is a cheerful, upbeat and anthemic hit-tune, that for some reason reminded me of Adele Bertei's THE BLOODS (known from NY No Wave)... While "World In Crisis" has more of a late 70s/early 80s Scottish DIY-guitar-pop influenced appeal to it (remember the early POSTCARD bands and the C86 sound). Awesome hit-single, with handstamped labels, insert and download-code included.
