NON PLUS TEMPS- Desire Choir - LP - POST PRESENT MEDIUM
 This is a project of Andy Jordan aka Andy Human and Sam Lefebvre (PREENING, WARM SODA), and it's heavily inspired by the Dub of the legendary ON-U SOUND label. Due to the contributions of quite some guest musicians, including Amber Sermeno (THE WORLD, NAKED ROOMMATE) the whole record almost feels like a compilation. But then again, this is a good sign for an album that tries to combine modern Post-Punk with Dub vibrations, including lots of influences and references. Adrian Sherwood would surely like this. Limited edition of 500 copies.

Contemporaries of bands like the GANG OF FOUR, the POP GROUP, SLITS or PIL. And for some reason I feel reminded of early CHUMBAWAMBA... Minimalistic and free, and in this sense it reminds of the same approach that once bands like the CONTORTIONS, RAINCOATS or BUSH TETRAS had... Not exactly similar, but in the same vein. And it's alright if you like saxaphones.
