SHIFTERS- Open Vault - 2XLP - ADAGIO 830 / INSOLITO
 The SHIFTERS from Melbourne/Australia got already quite a few releases, a.o. on labels like TROUBLE IN MIND, CAPTURED TRACKS, DIGITAL REGRESS, and more. This double-LP set contains of unreleased studio-tracks, demos, live- and home-recordings, from 2016 to 2020. Their style seems to owe a lot to THE FALL (and maybe HALF JAPANESE), but with a more Twee-Pop oriented sound to it, while other tracks are reminiscent of minimalist early 80s tape-recording artists. And can't avoid mentioning that with some of their tracks I came to think it's sounding like a "LoFi-version of GAD WHIP"...
